A new era of the Van Gogh Experience in Cincinnati
Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience begins just like your typical exhibition. A museum-style walk-through section tells you more about the artist’s life — from his heartbreak to his injuries and everything in between. What makes the experience unique from other exhibits are the unique rooms you’ll wander through. For the first time ever in Cincy, walk through a Sunflower Room filled with blooms and mirrors, a Letters Room and a life-size hologram of Van Gogh, before stepping into the signature Projection Room.
The interactive projections will swirl all around you during a captivating spectacle, painting the walls of the venue in Van Gogh’s oeuvre. Legendary pieces like ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Sunflower’ come to life in stunning detail, highlighting every brushstroke. The entire experience is set to a spellbinding musical score that will make you feel as though you stepped inside an artistic dream.
As you make your way through the exhibit, you’ll find yourself in Arles, France. Thanks to an add-on VR segment, you’ll learn more about Van Gogh’s inspiration and creativity during a day in his life, before trying your hand at sketching and coloring some of his most iconic pieces. The VR section is available for an additional price, but the sketching segment is open to all — regardless of your level.
